Annual Program Planning Event
Program Planning, held annually, is a great opportunity to make your voice heard and hear what others have to say. It’s a time for new and long-term members to gather to discuss topics they feel will be important for the upcoming Program year.
PROGRAM PLANNING 2019 is SATURDAY, JANUARY 26th at Richfield United Methodist Church, 5835 Lyndale Ave So, Minneapolis. Parking is free and adjacent to the church. Gather at 9:00 am and wrap-up by noon. If you need a ride in order to attend, please let the office know, and we will try to connect you with another member.
When you are thinking about the topics you’d like to see on next year’s calendar, ask yourself:
- Are there issues I feel we need to know more about?
- Issues where I think the League can make a difference?
- Issues I hope will not be ignored?
We want to hear your thoughts. If you are unable to attend the Program Planning session on the 26th, please submit your thoughts/ideas by email to [email protected] . (See the response form below.)
At Program Planning we’ll have a delicious continental breakfast, a speaker, and small group discussion. We’ll be making preliminary decisions on possible topics for 2019-20. Members please check future Thursday emails for more details. For now, start identifying the issues you’d like LWVMpls to consider, and mark your calendar for Saturday, January 26th!
